As life gets even more busy, I know most of you just do not have time to cook everyday. I’ll admit, neither do I! That is where Freezer Cooking comes in so handy!
Several years back now, I posted this post of Freezer Friendly recipes that I made before we had our daughter. I decided to repost it along with a few more to get you started in the right direction.
Each of these recipes can be prepared in advance then simply freeze it to serve later.
At that point, you would defrost it just a bit, then continue on with the regular cooking instructions.
Tips for Freezer Cooking meals
Just a note here too, for the Slow Cooker recipes, I do all the prep for those then I freeze all the ingredients in a freezer safe storage bag.
I also freeze the pasta in a separate bag and attach it to my prepared ingredients, that way everything is in one place when I go to make the dish.
So, on the slow cooker meals remember to freeze the grain or pasta separately, then all you are doing is prepping it for the slow cooker.
The baked dishes you would actually be baking or fully preparing then freezing them.

One thing I have learned is that you absolutely need to use freezer safe storage containers or bags.
Do not skimp out on this part because if you do not have good, high quality freezer storage containers or bags you are more likely to have freezer burn or dishes broken.
