It’s time for a Weekly Menu Plan!
Just like that we are more than halfway through the month. This is such a short month, really we are nearly through the month completely, aren’t we? I’m ready for spring. I’ve said that a million times at this point, so I’m ready for March.
Although, our March is always questionable. Many times it’s the start of spring for Oklahoma and then there are times where we get a random snow storm in March. So, who really knows?
We just wrapped up basketball season and soon we will finish up another activity we have had going on these past few months. As much as we have enjoyed it all, I’m ready for a break. My son just mentioned that we are always going and never have time at home lately…I know exactly what he means too.

We are very much home bodies and need that time at home to just relax and breathe a little, don’t you? I’m trying to remember this time for next year so we don’t get this over extended again. I have always been pretty hardcore that we only do 1 activity at a time per kid, I know some would agree and some won’t…it’s obviously up to every family. For our family though, that works the best and we over extended ourselves these past couple months. My kids are feeling it too and to me that just reconfirms the need for us to just do one thing at a time so we aren’t so busy.
The good thing is we are nearly through that and will have some days freeing up again. I know my son is pretty excited to be able to just go play outside after school instead of a rush to get homework done to get to after school activities.
I’m excited to be able to make dinner and serve it warm instead of heated up…the little things, right?
