This month marks 6 years that I have been eating gluten-free. I actually started eating gluten-free before there was so much readily available.
I would go to the store and spend hours reading ingredients, shopping different grocery stores to find things I could eat. Nowadays, you can find just about all you need at just about any store you go to, even several restaurants too.
It seems like it took off for sure and many are gluten-free. As much as some roll their eyes and act as though it’s a fad, if you truly NEED to be gluten-free, you won’t think of it that way and you’ll never go back to the way you were eating. That’s what happened to me.
I immediately felt so much relief with a whole slew of issues I was facing in terms of my digestive system, that I never went back to eating gluten again.

My son is also gluten-free and we attempted to bring bits of it back into his diet to see if he could handle it, we quickly learned that was a bad ideas.

So, he is back to a gluten-free diet as well. Thankfully, I have learned over the years that I can make absolutely anything gluten-free and most of the time it’s really not any different than making it with gluten.
It comes down to a simple swap of flours.
What is the best Gluten Free Flour to use? Is there one gluten free flour that works for everything?
I only use gluten-free all purpose flour, I do not use any of the millions of other flours out there. That just was too overwhelming for me, so once I found a good gluten-free all purpose flour, this one, I use that for everything.
I use Better Batter Flour. It works the same and cost so much less with just having to use one flour and not buy several.
