We have officially started another school year, which means our menu plans are changing a bit to accommodate a busy schedule again.
This year we have a kindergartner and 4th grader. I have to admit it’s a bit dreamy to finally have them in one place and on the same schedule.
For the most part, that should stay consistent as they continue on through their school years. Last year, I felt like I spent the majority of my day in the car going from one place to another.
This year, I finally feel like I may actually accomplish something. Who knew that was possible?
I also decided to open my own booth at a store in town called JADE on Main in Broken Arrow, OK. It will officially open on September 1st, assuming all my products come in on time!
I don’t know if it was the thought of my kids both going to school full-time now or just the need for something different. I’ve struggled a lot these past few months with trying to really think about what I wanted to do, not what I HAD to do.
In that, one of my dreams has always been to open a store since I was a kid. I decided to start with a booth as a small step to test the waters. I’ll be selling some of my favorite kitchen products that I use at home, plus some antiques that I love as well.
I’m anxious to get started and excited about it too, which is a great feeling!
Another thing I’m going to start possibly this week, is each Wednesday I’ll be doing a Facebook live. I’m going to start with Air Fryer Recipes to show many how it works and what is so great about it! Be sure to follow my Facebook Page for more details.
In the meantime, this is going to be a busy week so a menu is going to be necessary to stick to. Let’s get to it!
