How is your year going so far? Busy? Mine is! I still have a strong desire though to provide my family with delicious, warm, homemade meals. This Gluten Free Instant Pot Lasagna Soup was just the right choice for a tasty dinner.
What’s a mom to do?
Well instead of crying in the corner, I have been using my Instant Pot or Air Fryer pretty regularly. These appliances have saved my sanity this year. Honestly, I think my oven is getting jealous.
Not that it has feelings of course, but seriously…I hardly ever use it anymore!
I have found my favorite way to use the Instant Pot is for soup and chili. It’s such an easy way to make it and for me it allows me to walk away and help my son with homework or take care of my daughter and not have to worry about anything boiling over.

Let’s whip out that Instant Pot! I’ll admit it has taken me a while, as in years to fully jump on board with my Instant Pot.

How do you make Gluten Free Instant Pot Lasagna?
Several year ago, I made this Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup and we loved it. Then, it seemed like years since I made it again. Honestly, I have no idea why other than sometimes recipes I create get buried when you try so many. It just happens.
I decided to recreate it but this time use the Instant Pot. I can say that it worked out so well, my kids LOVED this soup.
They really aren’t huge soup eaters either, but both of them just couldn’t get enough of this soup.
What pasta should you use for Gluten Free Instant Pot Lasagna?
I used Barilla Gluten Free Lasagna; however, you can use any gluten-free lasagna pasta of your choice.
I was able to find these at Walmart, so I went with these; however, I do know that many stores carry the traditional wavy gluten-free pasta too.
What do you need for Gluten Free Instant Pot Lasagna?
- Ground Beef
- Meat Sauce
- Fresh Spinach
- Gluten Free Lasagna Noodles
- Mozzarella Cheese
What can you serve with Gluten Free Instant Pot Lasagna?
If you aren’t gluten-free and you are making this with regular pasta, I would serve it with garlic bread.
I actually like it served alone with no sides, but if you prefer bread, you can do some gluten-free breadsticks or crackers too. Even some gluten free baguettes would be a good choice too.
Tips for Making Gluten Free Instant Pot Lasagna
Be sure to use lean ground beef, that works the best. If not, just drain it before you start adding in the soup ingredients.
The pasta will go in uncooked and be sure the vent is fully sealed when the instant pot begins to build pressure. It will only take 4 minutes once the pressure is reached.
A quick release of the steam and then it’s time to serve it up!

Gluten Free Instant Pot Lasagna Soup
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 24 Oz Meat Sauce (Marinara Sauce)
- 1 Tsp Dried Basil
- 1 Cup Fresh Spinach Leaves
- 1 Clove Crushed Garlic
- 6 Cups Water
- 12 oz Gluten Free Lasagna Noodles or Regular Lasagna Noodles
- 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Set the Instant Pot to saute, and add the ground beef. Fully cook it and drain it if needed.
- Change the instant pot to 'off'. Add in the beef, meat sauce, basil, spinach, garlic, and water.
- Break the noodles into small pieces and add to the instant pot.
- Set to manual, high pressure for 4 minutes.
- Quick release the steam once done.
- Serve topped with cheese.
