Homemade Italian Seasoning is easy to make using just pantry style ingredients from your spices. It’s a wonderful combination that is a must-have for a variety of meals. It’s a great way to season some basics like chicken or steak too.
Homemade seasonings are a must to have on hand for a variety of recipes. They are perfect to use if you just need to cook some chicken and want to give it a burst of flavor and serve it with a salad. We actually love to use these seasonings on chicken and cook it in the Ninja Foodi or Air Fryer too.

What do you need for Homemade Italian Seasoning?
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
These are the only seasonings you need to make this great combination seasoning. It’s also naturally gluten-free too, but as always check your seasonings to be sure there is no cross-contamination with the brands you are using.
All you need to do is just combine these ingredients to make a great seasoning. It can be stored in an airtight container for months just as you could traditional spices and seasonings.

Homemade Italian Seasoning
- 2 Tbsp Dried Parsley
- 2 Tbsp Dried Oregano
- 2 Tbsp Dried Basil
- 1 Tbsp Dried Thyme
- 1 Tbsp Dried Rosemary
- 2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine all ingredients together.
- Whisk well to combine.
- Transfer to an airtight container to store until used.
