This time of year means lots of camping, so today I’m sharing 10 Campfire Recipes.
Do you have plans coming up for camping? I’ll admit, I’m not a camping in a tent girl. Now, put me in an RV or a camper and I’m set, but sleeping in a tent? Not so much! We tend to have lots of campfire style dinners during the summer because we spend the majority of our free time at the lake. We setup a little camp area on a beach in the middle of the lake and grill or cookout our food for the day. It’s relaxing and relatively easy to do too!
I thought I’d share some of our favorite campfire recipes that can easily be made over an open flame. Do you have some favorites? Does your family go camping regularly? In Oklahoma, you need a lake nearby for camping with it being so HOT by July. Our friends have even hooked up an a/c in their tent. I guess that’s considered ‘glamping’? I love going out on the lake though and camping out or for me it’s probably glamping, it seems like everything slows down a bit and we can just sit and enjoy nature without being so connected. That’s nice sometimes even though I think nature hates me, but still…it’s nice!
Now, let’s get to some of these recipes. I’d love to hear some of your favorites too!

Now, these are a few of my favorites, what are some of yours? I’d love to hear some dessert ideas! I’ve seen a few for S’mores Dip that I’m anxious to try this summer! It seems much less messy than actual S’mores, which is typically what we do.
Happy Camping!

I’m with you on the camping…. and that RV best have AC. Satellite would be nice, too. 🙂 I really do love sitting around the campfire with friends/family though.
And I usually go camping under the guise of fishing, but let’s be real… it is way cheaper to go get some $20/lb walleye than going to a resort and fishing.
Haha! Yes, our friends had that and it was nice!
