A few years back we planted corn in our garden, we had high hopes for it too. It grew tremendously and we finally started to see the corn coming up but then…the dreaded bugs beat us to it!
Since then, we haven’t tried our luck with corn again, now we just opt to get it at a farmers market or at the grocery store. I love it though this time of year, since it is so easy to season and toss on the grill.
There is really no recipe needed for this Grilled Buttered Corn. I simply place a sheet of foil down and then pour melted butter on the piece of foil with a little sea salt and wrap the corn in it. The corn can then be tossed on the grill while the meat is cooking. Just remember to turn it from time to time so that it is cooked evenly on all sides.
We also love adding honey to the corn too, it gives it an even sweeter taste.
Have you grown corn in your garden? If so, what tips do you have to keep the bugs away? I would love to hear them!
