It’s time for another Weekly Menu Plan!
Can you believe it’s nearly the end of April? We only have one weekend left, that’s it! I am ready for May though and the end of the school year. It’s strange to think that in a few months I’ll have a 4th grader and a kindergartener. When I started this website back in 2010, my son was only 1! My daughter wasn’t even on the radar yet.
It just really causes me to pause and wonder where all the time goes. He will be 9 in June and in July I’ll celebrate 8 years of my journey with this website. It’s certainly been just that too, a journey.
It started out as a hobby and something to do during those early years of motherhood and quickly turned into a full-time job. Now, it’s become part of me in many ways. My kids have grown up around it, knowing that mom will probably be taking pictures before they can eat dinner. It is the way it is when you are around a blogger.
It just blows my mind sometimes to look back and wonder how all of the things in life happened and yet we really hadn’t planned on any of them. I remember sitting in college classes my senior year, trying to plan out my next step. Where would I work? What would I need to make to afford my apartment? At the time I had every intention on moving out of state to work in the fahsion industry.
Isn’t it funny how all that time I spent planning and NONE of it actually worked out the way I had planned? I think God has a way of doing that to us, doesn’t He? His plans are always better than anything we could ever dream of. I have learned that over and over again.
I guess I’ll have to write more post on that but in the mean time…menu plan.
Let’s get to the Weekly Menu Plan!
