It’s time, friends. Time for outdoor parties. Although, I’m not a huge fan of summer heat, I absolutely love this time of year for all the outdoor parties. I truly enjoy having family and friends over for outdoor parties throughout the summer months. It’s so fun to just let the kids run and play while the adults get to sit back and enjoy some delicious food and conversation.
This past weekend we had our first outdoor cookout of the season, I decided to setup our picnic table with the perfect table-scape for an outdoor picnic. I decided to mix a lot of the red plaids with galvanized metals and wood to give it more of a country chic look, at least that’s how I would describe it.
Of course, we had to use mason jars too, which happen to be one of my favorite things. I added little pinwheels to them to give them a little flair.
Now, the food, that was probably the most important thing, right? We tried New Heinz® Yellow Mustard. This mustard is perfect for these Mustard Rub Burgers. It has a secret blend of spices and vinegar for the perfect balance of flavor and tang. It’s been in business since 1869! Now, the best part is that it is made with 100% natural ingredients including stone-ground mustard seeds. Can we say YUM?
Now, what I love is that there isn’t that little pile of water on top of the mustard, so it doesn’t make the bread soggy!
I decided to mix Heinz Yellow Mustard with a few additional spices to make a rub, then I simply rubbed it on each burger patty and let it sit for about 2 hours to really soak in the flavor. The burgers were full of flavor and juicy too, perfection!
I setup our table full of condiments that included the Heinz Yellow Mustard along with the Heinz Ketchup and Relish too. Then, of course we had a few favorites like lettuce, tomato, and onions.
Next up, I roasted corn and made potato salad and beans to go with our burgers and dogs. Then, for dessert I made my Angel Fluff. I’ll be sharing both the recipes for this particular angel fluff and corn on the blog soon, so stay tuned for those.
My family enjoyed sitting back and relaxing and soaking up the beautiful weather, plus biting into those juicy burgers. There is just something about grilling burgers, they just taste SO good!
What is your favorite way to eat a burger? Be sure to share it with us and stop by Walmart to pick up your Heinz Yellow Mustard! It’s located right next to the ketchup, so you can get all your condiments at once!
Now it’s time for a cookout!

We decorated with pinwheels at my wedding so that’s a fun detail! Mustard makes everything better – what an awesome spread! #client
