Football season is here and that means so is tailgating season! Are you ready to make some tailgating recipes that will score a touchdown?
This post is sponsored by Head Country, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ll let you in on a little secret, one secret ingredient will completely transform your entire menu for your tailgate party. Trust me when I said that these tailgating recipes are going to make your party even more fabulous and very tasty too.
What is it?
Head Country Bar-B-Q Seasoning & Sauces for your tailgating recipes.
My husband has become obsessed with football, seriously obsessed. When we met and were married, he had hardly any interest in it. He didn’t mind watching a game but it wasn’t something he planned his day around.
He met some new friends in the past few years and all of that has changed. Now, my husband doesn’t miss a game and loves it and not only does he love it but my son does too. That means basically the entire football season, my daughter I seem to get banned to the upstairs TV while the game is on downstairs.
Well, maybe I shouldn’t say banned because he welcomes us to watch it but I’d rather focus on the tailgating recipes than what is going on with the game. It must get exciting though because I’ve never heard so many emotions be shouted at the TV screen.
This year is even more exciting though, for my husband and son, they are both going to their first NFL game in a few weeks. They’ve been looking forward to this for months, so the excitement is definitely building.
In the midst of all of this, that means that nearly every single weekend we are making tailgating recipes, but I have to say that Head Country Bar-B-Q sauce and seasonings have changed my life when it comes to cooking.
Is Head Country gluten-free for tailgating recipes?
YES! It’s ALL gluten-free from the sauce to the seasonings. That just makes it even better in my book. It’s also incredibly versatile. These seasonings can really elevate your tailgating recipes.
We use it in a variety of recipes including beans and seasoned pretzels too. I like to make these Air Fryer Seasoned Pretzels, then add in the Head Country Sweet & Spicy Seasoning too.
Tailgating Recipes that will score a Touchdown:
Of course, we all want to please the crowd, right? That would be all our friends and family that head on over for the game day? My husband is planning all sorts of tailgating parties, and I’m trying to keep up at this point.
Thankfully though, having seasonings and sauces on hand with Head Country help me add some flavor to all sorts of recipes. We decided to start out with some smoked ribs, which we seasoned with Head Country Sweet & Spicy Seasoning along with Apple Habanero Sauce.
I’ll add in that the Head Country Apple Habanero Bar-B-Q Sauce is my all-time favorite. I was a little reluctant to try it at first because I’m not a huge fan of spicy foods but it’s INCREDIBLE. It has a great sweet and spicy flavor and it’s not overly spicy.
That means you will not be running for water when you eat it, it’s just a subtle spice that adds to the flavor of the dish.
These are some of our favorite foods for tailgating parties, they are each delicious with Head Country Sauce & Seasonings.
