I hope you all had a great week and Valentine’s Day! Did you do anything special?
This week has basically been about recovery for us. I came down with Flu A the week before and it truly took me off my feet, literally.
I don’t recall ever being so sick. I went to bed on Monday and the next thing I knew it was the weekend. Where did the week go? It’s a complete blur and mystery to me. I think that’s the first time that I have really been out and off my feet for so long.
This past week has been a week of playing catch up and trying to simply recover and rebuild my immune system. Of course, now I’m fighting off a cold. I need a break.

We are getting ready and the countdown is on for our big vacation next month, so I’m also praying that all the sickness leaves before vacation.
We are going to Orlando with lots of fun things planned. The kids have known about it and been looking forward to it for nearly a year so it’s time we go and hopefully are all in good health too.
Do you meal plan on vacation? We are staying in a condo, so I’ll be holding true to my menu plan and planning for that as well. I really try to do as many meals as we can at the condo to cut back on eating out.
For instance, breakfast is one of the easiest things to plan for at a condo. Plus, it gives us some time to sleep in and not have to run off to feed the kids too.
Now, as we look ahead let’s get this menu for the week planned.
