This summer, I have tried my hardest to do as many activities as we possibly can within reason of course. I really LOVE spending time with my kids and wanted to be sure to make the most of our summers together.
The hardest thing for me to balance is trying to find activities for both my kids to enjoy with the age difference, plus activities that are early enough in the mornings to get back for my daughter’s nap. Ever miss a nap time? Or those beloved naps in the car? Yes…getting home at nap time is a MUST. Then, lastly another challenge is that I work from home.
The last challenge may by far be the hardest thing I have ever done although rewarding as well.
One activity that we enjoy frequently are movie nights. We are regulars to family move nights. Of course, we have always loved a good movie night but after I had my daughter, they became more frequent since we had to be home for her bedtime in the evenings. She goes to bed a few hours before our son so a movie night is a great way for us to spend time with him one on one.
Our latest movie night included Rio 2 and Popcorn Ball Pops! My son LOVES popcorn and he really enjoys it when it’s made as a ‘pop’. We had his cousins over this past week to enjoy our movie plus a sweet treat with popcorn ball pops.
I headed to Walmart to pick up our movie along with Pop Secret Popcorn to make our sweet treat. It only takes a few minutes and then you’ll have the perfect movie night treat.
Rio 2 is absolutely hilarious, plus it’s perfect for kids! We are already planning to watch it again this week for another movie night.
Before you head out to purchase Rio 2 and your popcorn, be sure to print off this $1 off any Pop Secret Popcorn COUPON while supplies last! Savings and a movie night…my kind of combo!
Now are you ready for a good movie night?
Happy Family Movie Night!
