Kristy, when you say pasta sauce, which kind do you mean? The photo doesn’t look like it’s tomato sauce. Also, my husband and I do not use alcohol. Would chicken broth be a good substitute?

I used Meat Pasta Sauce from Aldi, essentially the same as spaghetti sauce. You can use Ragu or any type you like. I’m not sure about the chicken broth I would assume it would cook the same but the flavor may be a bit different. I actually use White Cooking Wine, I’m not sure if you are comfortable using that or not, but we don’t keep wine or anything in our house either. So I usually stay stocked on the cooking wines for red and white which are sold by the spices at the grocery store.
