Did you know you can make these BBQ Country Style Ribs in the oven on 400 Degrees? It’s easy!
What do you do when the whole state is under a burn ban and you were planning on smoking ribs or at least grilling them? The only option you have, moving them inside to the oven! Make these BBQ Country Style Ribs in the Oven in just under an hour.
This happened to us this past weekend, we had a change of plans which turned out to be a good change!
I recently purchased bone-in country style ribs at our local grocery store. I love boneless country style ribs and my husband loves them with the bone, so it was his lucky day because bone-in ribs were on sale.
This is very simple method of cooking BBQ Country Style Ribs in the oven.
We’ve found that sometimes it’s necessary, plus it’s super easy too!
BBQ Country Style Ribs
Preheat oven to 400*.
Cover the ribs with Seasoned Salt.
The amounts to use will vary based on the amount of meat you have, but I made sure the top of each rib was covered.
Then, I poured on the BBQ sauce, I used 1/2 a bottle of sauce, being sure all the ribs were covered with sauce.I baked these for 1 hour and they came out tender and juicy. They were delicious.
Be sure the ribs are fully cooked by using a quick test thermometer. These need to be above 145 degrees.
I think these may have been the most tender ribs I have ever eaten. The BBQ and seasoning gave it a nice zesty, juicy flavor. I served these with corn on the cob, made me even more ready for our garden and farmer’s market this year!
What we love is that you can easily make these in the oven. So even it’s -30 degrees outside and you have a hankering for some tasty ribs, you can do just that in the oven in just about an hour.

Do you cover these with foil to bake them in the oven?
I did mainly to keep the grease from dripping all over the pan. I did not cover it with foil on top, I just wrapped it around the sides so that it would hold all the grease in.

I followed the directions and my ribs burned to a crisp! You sure it’s supposed to be 1 hour at 400 degrees?
Oh no, yes, we’ve been making them like this for many years. Did you use country style ribs? Country style are thicker and more fatty than spare ribs.
I trust your ribs were boneless country style? If you used spareribs or baby backs, I can see why they got burnt.
Does this work for boneless as well? 400 for 1 hr?

I’vesde this numerous times with pork loin country style ribs and we love them. Recently purchased boneless pork shoulder country style ribs in error. Can I cook them the same way?
It should work the same way but just watch the cooking time in case it needs adjusted.

Pulled them out at 45 minute mark. Burnt amd dried out.
My fault for trying to cut corners and not cook these slow and low.
