Use your pantry ingredients to make this easy Homemade All-Purpose Seasoning, naturally gluten-free too!
This recipe is a great one to add to your pantry staples right along with Homemade Italian Seasoning and Homemade Taco Seasoning.

It’s versatile and a must-have for your pantry staples.
Benefits of making Homemade All-Purpose Seasoning:
The biggest benefit of course to making your own homemade seasonings is that you can control what goes in it as well as the sodium content.
The other benefit is that you likely already have all the ingredients that you need on hand, which means it’s one less thing that you need to buy at the store, and let’s face it…food costs are skyrocketing.
So let’s cut costs where we can and make our own seasonings and the big perk is you will know exactly what’s going in it too!
What do you need for Homemade All-Purpose Seasoning?
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Thyme
- Coriander
- Rosemary
- Crushed Red Pepper
- Cumin
- Basil
- Parsley
This seasoning will be made with dried seasonings. It can be stored for months in an airtight container right in your pantry with your other seasonings.
It’s also naturally gluten-free, but as always be sure to check all seasonings that you use to be sure what you are using is gluten-free. They should all be naturally gluten-free, but I have found a few brands that seem to have some cross-contamination in them.
It’s best to check ingredient labels…always!
Once you have all your ingredients ready, it’s simply mixing it up in a bowl and storing it in an airtight container. Then, the next time you make some vegetables, you can easily add this All-Purpose Seasoning to the veggies to give them a boost of flavor.
Enjoy!
