Ingredients for Easy Heart Shaped Cinnamon Rolls:

- Refrigerated Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
- Icing from the Cinnamon Rolls
- Strawberry Jam
- Optional – Sprinkles
Step-by-Step Instructions:

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Remove all cinnamon rolls from the cans and unroll them 1/4 of the way. This works best with Pillsbury.
- Flip half of the cinnamon rolls over and place them roll sides together, next to each other to form a heart shape. The best option is to have one side with cinnamon facing up and one side with cinnamon facing down to get even parts of cinnamon on both sides.
- Pinch the bottom of the heart together and the top of the heart together, where the dough is touching, so they do not break apart when cooking.
- Spray a baking sheet with nonstick baking spray.
- Place the prepared rolls on the baking sheet with about 2 inches between each roll.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small bowl combine the icing and the jam to make a strawberry icing.
- Once the cinnamon rolls have been removed and cooled for at least 5 minutes or more, begin to add the icing.
- The icing can be added with a pipping bag and the end cut off or using a spoon and swirled onto the rolls.
- Serve.
Tips for Perfect Heart Shapes:

- Use Pillsbury Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls – this brand is far better than the alternatives as far as holding shape and being easy to work with the dough and unroll it.
- Do not unroll the dough more than about 1/4 so that it keeps structure and holds the heart shape.

- It’s best to have one half of the heart with the cinnamon side up and one half down to get even distribution of cinnamon on both sides.
- Once you have each side just slightly unrolled, pinch together the bottom to define the heart shape.
- If the rolls spread too much while baking, gently reshape them while they are still warm when fully baked.
- These can be made in the Air Fryer too using this Air Fryer Recipe.
Easy Variations and Add-Ins:

- Mix the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls with strawberry jam to give it a pink tinted color and a strawberry flavor.
- Add pink sprinkles on top for some festive Valentine’s Day color.
- Serve with fresh fruit or as part of a breakfast spread.
Storage Tips:
Leftover cinnamon rolls can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days. They can be reheated on a microwave safe plate in the microwave for about 10 seconds.
