We are full swing into holiday mode around here, our tree is decorated, gifts have been purchased, and treats are baking in the oven around the clock.  Is that how December shapes up at your house?  We have our daughter’s Christmas program this week followed by a few Christmas parties this weekend, then another Christmas program and more parties.  It’s every weekend all the way up until Christmas.  My daughter’s birthday party is always in the midst of all the Christmas parties.

Over the holidays, my kids and I head into the kitchen and make several treats to drop off to friends and family just before Christmas.  Typically we do this over the winter break since they always are out of school a few days before Christmas.  I have several recipes on my list this year to make with them, but anything chocolate covered is always toward the top of the list!  We’ll be adding some of this mix too.  I added several ingredients into a big bowl, then simply poured melted white chocolate and milk chocolate over it and mixed it all up.  Then, you pour it into a few baking dishes to let it fully harden.  Once it’s done, you have a chocolate covered mix that you just won’t be able to stop eating, it’s so tasty!  I love the pairing of sweet and salty.

There is something so good about combining cereal and chocolate. It is yummy. I love it when you add the two together. I haven’ had that cereal in years.

This looks really delicious! I love snack mix and bark recipes because they are so easy. I also love that you can make a ton of it at once, which is awesome if you have a huge family!
