It’s time to warm up with a delicious bowl of Cheddar Broccoli Potato Soup during these cold winter months. I’m sharing this post in partnership with Idahoan® Foods and their Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Potato Soups, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m sure all of us have had that delicious steakhouse soup that we wish so badly we could recreate at home, am I right? I can immediately think of a few restaurants in town that have the best steakhouse soups and I crave them every winter especially during these bitterly cold months. As we head past Thanksgiving, our lives become so crazy busy that I need quick and simple meals that I can easily bring to the table. This past week I was able to pair that delicious steakhouse soup craving with a quick and easy meal by using the Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse Potato Soups.
These soups are filled with real red potatoes and potato skins, it’s loaded with a delicious, creamy texture. Of course, I’m pretty sure when I saw gluten-free on the package, I could hear the angels singing. YES! It’s gluten-free for all my friends that also are need of gluten-free foods. I was able to make this soup on the stove top in just under 10 minutes. I decided to top ours with bacon and cheese and then add a roll too. This is my idea of a delicious winter meal. Of course, I just ordered some steaks too, so it will soon be a side dish to our steak but in the meantime I can eat it alone too.
There are actually a variety of soups available nationwide, these include four flavors: Creamy Potato, Loaded Potato, Cheddar Broccoli, and Three Cheese Chipotle. I decided to make the Cheddar Broccoli, it was so creamy and filling. I actually made it for lunch, which was perfect for me, it takes just a few minutes to make so it’s an easy one to make for lunch or on a busy school night. I don’t know about you all but goodness my life seems so busy lately. I just thought it was busy when I had just one kid in activities, but now I added another and I feel like I’m going in a hundred different directions. It’s so nice when I can just know that dinner is done and everyone will enjoy it.
These soups actually cost just under $3.00 and we were able to feed our entire family of 4 with just one package. That means not only are they tasty but also affordable! I easily drop $20 or more on fast food if we are busy, and with this I get a hearty soup that allows me to be frugal and keep bellies nice and full.
As we head into these winter months, we’ll be staying warm with our soup and sharing more about these steakhouse soups. Be sure to follow along with @IdahoanFoods with this hashtag #IdahoanSteakhouseSoups for more great ideas and ways to serve!
Enjoy!
