Just in time for the holidays, Mason Jar Treats are the perfect holiday gift giving item!
It never fails that each year during the holidays, my mind is suddenly overwhelmed with all the gifts that I need to pick up for certain people such as teachers and those that help us throughout the year. One thing I try do is stay on a budget! It adds up when you have multiple kids or maybe you have many co-workers you give little gifts to. I always get so stressed out, when really it shouldn’t be that way, right? I am always so worried I will miss someone and of course, not all of us can spend a lot on gifts for everyone either when the lists are a mile long. These Mason Jar Treats though get so many gifts done on a budget.
These jars are so cute and easy to customize for each person you want to give gifts too. I typically will fill ours up with a variety of treats. This particular time I used Peppermint Mocha Fudge and then holiday candies. Now, what I love to do is to pick out an ornament that is specific to each person that I’m giving the treat jars too. For instance, if you have a friend that likes to shop, pick up a fun little shopping themed ornament. These were for a few family members that love rustic style, so I picked up some rustic styled snowmen to add to the treat jars. Then, I decided to go with this ribbon that I could work with a bit because it’s got wire in it and I thought it resembled a scarf. It added a great element to the jars.
Once I had everything for my jars, I added the treats, the ribbon and then tied the ornament to the ribbon. I styled the ribbon and had them ready to go! The best part I think is you really don’t have to worry about wrapping them either, they are perfect as is! So far the favorite around here is the Peppermint Mocha Fudge, but I also like to add this Goop to them too!

I have been searching for something to give our boys’ teachers this year. I love this idea. I especially like that once the treat is gone they still have a versatile jar they can use for whatever strikes their fancy. Thank you.
Those snowmen are adorable. I’m so glad I saw this! My husband just lost his job and so we’re all about making personalized gifts this year. Definitely stealing this idea.
Thank you for this idea!! Every year I make cookies and always send them to our neighbours in tin boxes….I love this idea (and I happen to love Mason jars!)
I love mason jars too…a little too much!
Those jars turned out beautifully! I love adding the ornament to the jar as part of the gift.
These are some of the cutest ones I’ve seen . The snowmen make it over the top cute. I’m so ready to go candy shopping for Christmas candy.
Thank you! I love making these.
I’m absolutely obsessed with this! I love making DIYs for Christmas and this sounds like such a fun one. They look so pretty too – I love what a great party favor this would make also! I love this, thanks for sharing!
These look sooo good! I love how you added peppermint to them. Genius! These would make for great gifts at a holiday party – the ribbon is such a nice touch! Love it!
Mason jar stuff never gets old! And you’ve come up yet again with a wonderful idea. I’ll surely be doing this this holiday. 😀 I also love what you did with it (the design etc.)
