Just in time for the holidays and all those parties, this Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball is a sure hit!
It’s time to pull out all those party recipes and foods, isn’t it? Thanksgiving is now behind us and next stop Christmas! Can you believe the time is already here again? It feels like each year keeps going by faster. I used to get so sad as a kid when Christmas was over because it was another year that was in the books and it always seemed to go by too quickly. Now, as an adult, it feels like it goes even faster than it did as a kid! I try to soak in every moment instead of getting caught up in the rush, which I’ll admit is hard to do sometimes.
One thing we do regularly is add new holiday recipes to our party menu and this Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball is on our list!
This cheese ball is a mixture of the Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Cream Cheese, Ranch Seasoning, and Dill Weed. Then, when I’m all done, I roll it in a crumbled bacon and green onion mixture. We pair ours with gluten-free crackers, but you can also do celery and carrots if you prefer veggies too, even a pumpernickel bread loaf is tasty with this cheese ball. I love shredding breads and serving them with dips and cheese balls.
This recipe is loved by all and perfect for parties. I’ve never had anyone say they don’t like cheese or cheese balls so it’s quickly one that disappears before our eyes. Do you serve a cheese ball at your parties? Another one to try is a Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cheese Ball, now that one will leave you licking the plate.
What is your favorite thing to eat during the holidays? I’d love to hear it!
Enjoy!

Time to move on to the next holiday. Thanksgiving to me is like a practice run for Christmas. It is time to start making some new and great appetizers. I like how you incorporate two different cheeses. Aged cheese always taste better. Cheeseballs with bacon would be a big hit no matter where I take it.
This bacon ranch cheese ball looks so fun and festive. I love the way this looks. I think this would be perfect for a holiday party! I actually never had a cheese ball, but I am a big fan of cheese. I think my whole family would enjoy this recipe!
Wow this looks like a delicious cheeseball. I have never made one, but I can imagine that this was a hit with your family! Adding bacon was a good choice and I bet this was gobbled up in no time. 🙂
The picture (and of course, recipe) looks delicious! I’ve had different varieties of cheese ball before, but didn’t try one with ranch seasoning in it. I think the ranch seasoning would be a perfect compliment to the cheeses – I’ve got to try this 🙂
You can never go wrong with a cheese ball and a bacon ranch one sounds yummy.
Whoever first mixed the two flavors was a genius.
I have a friend who is super picky and she will even hit the port wine cheeseballs so I know this one would go over.
If I made this today my hubby would have it eaten by the time I got home.
Wow this looks so good! My family loves cheese balls this time of year. We will have to try this recipe out I am sure it will be a big hit! I think adding bacon and ranch is a great idea and this may be my new go to holiday cheese ball. Thanks for sharing!
My friend used to make cheese balls all the for the holidays, and I always devoured them! This one seems like a similar recipe to hers…unfortunately, I don’t eat meat anymore!
