The best snack or appetizer is Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies, easy to make in the Ninja Foodi too. This recipe packs a lot of flavor and pairs with a delicious BBQ sauce for dipping.

Just as we head out of football season, we head right into basketball season, which means even more parties and the must-have is, of course, the food!
The great thing is that Head Country has a full line of sauces and seasonings that can bring some bold flavor to any party food you may be planning to serve.
What sauce and seasoning should you use for Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies?
I can honestly say that Head Country is by far the best BBQ Sauce. We’ve been using it for years and it’s made here in Oklahoma, not far from me actually.
I love that when we purchase Head Country, I’m shopping local even though they can be found nationally. They also have all gluten-free products and even a sugar-free bbq sauce.
Now in terms of these bacon wrapped little smokies, I do have some favorites.
The first thing that we like to do is season the bacon-wrapped smokies with the Sweet & Spicy seasoning. I find this gives a great flavor. Now if you like things even more spicy, I suggest the High Plains Heat.
They sure named that one right too.
Once you have them seasoned, it’s time for the sauce, we like to use Apple Habanero; however, if you are having a party, you can easily make bowls of all the different varieties and give your guests a choice in which sauce they prefer.
It also allows you to offer sugar-free sauce too if guests need that. My mom happens to love that option, it’s also yummy to dip chicken nuggets in too.
How do you make Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies?
These are best made with center-cut bacon so that you get more meat and less fat, then you will use small sausages or little smokies. These can be made with regular little smokies or turkey little smokies.
Regardless of which ones you use these air fryer sausages are so good and a really good game day recipe.
The first step is to cut the bacon in half, simply cut it and then wrap it around the sausage. These need to go into the air fryer basket with the seam side down in a greased basket. I’d use olive oil or coconut spray.
If you do this with the seam side down, you won’t need toothpicks. If you prefer toothpicks though, you can go ahead and secure the meat with a toothpick and place in the air fryer basket.
Once all of the sausages have been wrapped, set the air fryer to 375 degrees and cook for 12 minutes.
They will be ready to eat as soon as they come out and you can serve them with your favorite Head Country BBQ sauce.
Can you make these in the Ninja Foodi?
This recipe is easy to make in the Ninja Foodi using the air crisp function, it’s a great recipe to add to your list of Ninja Foodi Recipes.
Be sure to use the basket for this recipe as well as the attached lid on the Ninja Foodi.

I have recently purchased a Ninji Foodi. The problem I have is knowing what accessories I need other than a silicone spoon, and also where to put the ingredients, eg. in the basket, the pot below basket, or a bowl of mine. Recipe book I purchased doesn’t tell me this – just explains the recipe procedure. Help!
