My husband loves BBQ beans, so I thought I’d take it up a bit and fix my own!
- 2 15.5 oz Cans of Baked Beans
- 1 Cup of BBQ Sauce
- 1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
- 8 Slices of Bacon
- 1 Tsp of Mustard
- I put 4 slices of bacon on the bottom of the slow cooker, then I poured the beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and mustard on top and mixed it up. I placed the remaining bacon on top and cooked on low for 4 hours.
To go with this dish, I cooked canned home-style biscuits in the oven and boiled sweet corn. This is a simple and affordable meal.
