Are bananas in a smoothie a good ingredient choice?
Bananas are a great addition to a smoothie and actually are a good base. You can actually add banana to almost any smoothie recipe and avoid milk too if you prefer, you can use water instead. So it’s a great versatile option.
Another great way to enjoy a banana is with this nice cream recipe too.
Strawberry Banana Smoothies are naturally sweetened, but you can add some vanilla extract to bring out the flavors, even more, it gives a nice additional flavor to it.
What blender should you use to make smoothies?
We use a Blendtec for our smoothies, but you can use your preferred blender to make these. I also love this Ninja Blender too. This one is perfect because you can make it right in a cup and take it to go!
We love to prep these ahead too, you can even store them in the freezer with freezer-safe storage. If you don’t want to pre-make them, you can freeze all the ingredients together and store them in a freezer-safe storage bag, then just pour in the blender and mix.
This recipe is full of vitamins and nutrients that are beneficial and it’s a great way to get your fruit servings in too!
