Start back on your routine with an easy green smoothie recipe in the morning!
An easy and tasty way to get back to your better for your routine is by adding this green smoothie recipe into your morning. These smoothies are so tasty and even better your whole family will likely enjoy them…once they get past the green!
Are green smoothies good for you?
The easy answer is for sure, yes, green smoothies are good for you but it also depends on what you put into that smoothie. The green is coming from spinach, you can also use kale too.
These greens are full of great nutrients such as Vit A & C. If you are like me or my kids and don’t always get your vegetables in your foods, so this is a tasty way to get those veggies into your diet.
They also provide a variety of other additional vitamins too.
It’s best to keep your diet balanced too, so you don’t need to necessarily drink them every day, find out more on that here.
This Healthy Mango Smoothie is another great smoothie option!
What do you need for this Easy Green Smoothie?
- Water
- Green Grapes
- Pineapple Chunks
- Banana
- Spinach
- Ice Cubes
Of course, you can also add any extras you feel you would like to your green smoothie too.
What is the best blender to use for a smoothie?
We use a Blendtec for our smoothies, but you can use your preferred blender to make these. I also love this Ninja Blender too. This one is perfect because you can make it right in a cup and take it to go!
We love to prep these ahead too, you can even store them in the freezer with freezer-safe storage. If you don’t want to pre-make them, you can freeze all the ingredients together and store them in a freezer-safe storage bag, then just pour in the blender and mix.
I’ll be sharing a few more tasty smoothie recipes coming soon too for Strawberry Banana Smoothie and Peach Mango Smoothie too.
Enjoy!
