Recipes are all over Pinterest, if you had not already noticed! One that caught my eye was for the Oatmeal Smoothie from Martha Stewart. I rarely get all the nutrition I need in fruit, primarily because I am allergic to most of it, so I avoid it.
When I saw this smoothie, I knew that I would have to try it using some of the fruit that I can have. I also knew my son would love this….yes, he just woke up from his nap pardon the bed head.
This was the first time I used oatmeal in my smoothie and what a brilliant idea, I loved the texture it gave to the smoothie! Not only was the smoothie tasty, but it was also filling which is just what I need for breakfast to keep my energy level going!
