Get ready to enjoy a great breakfast with Ninja Foodi Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal!
One of my favorite breakfast foods during the fall is Baked Oatmeal. Of course, I can eat it year-round but my family loves to have Ninja Foodi Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal this time of year.
Since we love it so much, I knew I had to try it in the Ninja Foodi. This Ninja Foodi Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal is a great one to add to your list of Ninja Foodi Recipes.
Making oatmeal in the Ninja Foodi is very easy using the bake function of the Ninja Foodi. We did not find a need to do any pressure cooking either, simply bake it and serve. It turned out delicious! The key here is letting it bake on a low temperature and just the right amount of time so that it does not overcook.
How do you make Ninja Foodi Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal?
Ninja Foodi Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal is made right in the pot of the Ninja Foodi, no special pans are required. I have tried it in a variety of pans but find that the bottom cooks the best right in the pot of the Ninja Foodi.
Once all the ingredients are mixed together, you simply pour it into the greased pot of the Ninja Foodi. Then, you will use the lid that comes with it and bake it for 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
It’s that simple!
How should you serve oatmeal baked in the Ninja Foodi?
We find that baked oatmeal is served best with some warm milk. It can even be cold milk right on top of the warm oatmeal, it cools it down a bit.
The milk softens up the oatmeal and makes it absolutely heart-warming. My kids LOVE when we start making baked oatmeal again. It always seems to happen around the fall months; however, knowing that I can make it in the Ninja Foodi may make it show up on our breakfast menu more often.
What can I say…you just can’t use the oven in the summer here in Oklahoma it’s just so hot!
Tips for making oatmeal in the Ninja Foodi:
This is best made right in the pot of the Ninja Foodi. It’s also best to spray the pot with a non-stick cooking spray such as olive oil spray. We also use grapeseed oil too, you need to be sure to use one with a higher smoke point.
It’s actually not advised to use PAM or other similar cooking sprays in an air fryer or the Ninja Foodi because it can damage the coating of the pot and pans with the Ninja Foodi.
Now are you ready to make this great baked oatmeal, it’s time for Ninja Foodi Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal.
