This was our first official full week back to school, and that means I’m made a week worth of lunches! It did not occur to me until last week that instead of the few lunches I had to make for him last year, this year I have to make a WEEK of lunches!
That is a lot of lunch! That means that I have to be thinking ahead and having a few items prepared in advance to toss in his lunch box. I also like to make our lunches the night before. That just helps things run more smoothly in the mornings and one less thing for me to do!
I typically mix my son’s lunch with a little homemade and a little store bought. I really like the squeezable pouches of applesauce for him. He loves them, plus it’s no mess for his teacher! Another fun item that he likes to have are the Snack Packs! Even better, right now you can get $1 off 3 of them at Walmart! That’s 12 total…a few for him, a few more for me. Now, we can all agree…Mama needs some Snack Packs too!
Today, I thought I would share with you a full week of Back to School Lunch Box Ideas that is in my usual Menu Plan Monday style! Several of these items are freezer friendly too, for instance the pizza cups I make a batch of them then freeze them and use them throughout the month.

Pepperoni & Spinach Pizza Cups

Tuesday-
Squeezable Applesauce
Wednesday-
Strawberry Greek Yogurt Tube
String Cheese
