This gravy is made with gluten-free all-purpose flour. This flour needs to be a 1:1 swap, which means it’s an even swap from gluten-filled flour to gluten-free flour.
The best flour choices are King Arthur, Better Batter, Bob’s Red Mill, or Cup 4 Cup, but you can always use the flour that you prefer.

For this recipe we used beef broth; however, you can use chicken broth or turkey broth too.
The natural flavor of the broth that you choose will directly enhance the flavor of the gravy.
Tips for Making Creamy Gluten-Free Gravy:
This easy recipe only uses FIVE ingredients and is the perfect simple way to whip up gravy even last minute for your holiday dinner.
This gravy is going to be made in steps, the first thing that will be done is 1/2 cup of broth will be mixed with the flour and whisk until there are no lumps.
Once this is done, in a small saucepan or medium saucepan, warm up the butter and add in the remaining broth.
When it comes to a low boil, vigorously, whisk in the cool broth and flour mixture until thickened.
Then, finish it off by removing it from the heat and adding salt and pepper to taste.
The salt and pepper will be added based on your taste preference, I do not like salty foods so 1/2 tsp may not be enough for you, continue to add until you have reached your desired taste.
If you prefer, you could also garnish it with fresh herbs like fresh Rosemary or fresh Thyme. Another great add-in is a little bit of poultry seasoning too.
This creamy gluten-free gravy comes out with a great texture and if you make sure you combine the cold broth with the flour first, then you will avoid any lumpy gravy.
This is the gravy that we use every year over our Thanksgiving Turkey.
How do you store the gravy?
Store any leftover gravy in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
It can be reheated in the microwave in a microwave-safe dish for 2 minutes.
