Ginger Berry Mocktail is a great spring treat that’s good for all!
As springtime sneaks up on us, the weather gets nicer and it’s time to get outside! Since my husband and I had kids several years ago, it has been increasingly difficult to find time to just spend together as a date. I’m sure that is the case for the majority of parents everywhere. It’s not always easy to get babysitters and go out and do things together as it once was. We tend to try to get creative and do more at home days either when our kids randomly take a nap at the same time or after they go to bed.
Since the weather has been so nice around here, we were able to get outside and enjoy a little time together, plus try these Ginger Berry Mocktails. We like to pretend to be fancy, although we are far from it. I really enjoy sitting outside and enjoying a nice afternoon together while sipping on a delicious drink.
I decided to pick up a few batches of berries to add to it too, plus fresh mint leaves. I absolutely love the smell of the mint leaves and the subtle flavor it adds to this drink.
Once we had our drinks made it was time to head outside and cherish that 20 minutes or so we had to just sit and talk. It’s a nice refreshing time for my husband and I to catch up without being interrupted. What a treasure it is to actually complete a full sentence! Know what I mean?
Enjoy this while soaking up some sun!
