Make this EASY Seasoned Grilled Asparagus in just under 15 minutes on the charcoal or pellet grill!
We’ve been making a ton of pellet grill recipes and this Asparagus was perfectly made in just 15 minutes alongside our corn on the cob.
It’s simple to prep with just a bit of olive oil and garlic salt, then grill it for a few minutes and you have a great side dish without having to even start the oven or the stove!
Tips for Making Seasoned Grilled Asparagus:
When making grilled asparagus, it’s best to either use a foil-lined baking sheet or a grill basket to make this asparagus.
The grill basket works fabulously for a variety of vegetables including squash and potatoes too. We use this often right alongside our grilled meats.
With asparagus, all you need to do is wash and trim it then add a bit of olive oil or grapeseed oil to it and a dash or two of garlic salt.
That’s it! There is really not much to it at all. I have found that 15 minutes at 450 degrees Fahrenheit works perfectly for our Green Mountain Grill.
Just like with Air Fryer Asparagus, it’s best to keep a close eye on it because all grills tend to heat differently too.
Asparagus should come off the grill easy to bite into and crisp, not too soggy. If it comes out soggy then it’s likely been overcooked, this is why it’s very important to keep a close eye on your asparagus during the cooking time.
Asparagus is a wonderful low-carb side dish and it adds beautiful color to your plate during the summer months too. This is one that I acquired a taste for and now I just love it anytime we grill meat.
It also helps that it’s just so easy to prep and cook, you could easily add it as a side dish to a barbecue.
Time to eat!
