Make summer meal time simple with these 5 Easy Meal Ideas using Fish Sticks!
This post is sponsored by Gorton’s Seafood; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
This past month I shared with you tips for teaching kids to cook, so today I am going to expand on that and share with you some easy meal ideas using fish sticks.
Fish Sticks are one of the easiest foods to teach kids to cook with and one that I’ve taught my kids to cook this summer, so I thought I’d expand on it and show you just what you can do with something as simple as fish sticks.
Why do we love Gorton’s Fish Sticks?
We always purchase Gorton’s Fish Sticks for a variety of reasons. I’ve shared many of those with you over the years, but I’ll say that the resealable bag is a huge plus. We use what we need and save the rest, it’s perfect!
Gorton’s Seafood also uses only high quality, wild-caught Alaska Pollock and they are flash frozen at the peak of freshness. That means you are going to enjoy that delicious flavor regardless of when you cook the fish sticks.
Did you know that you can also microwave their fish sticks? I do prefer the oven or the air fryer; however, if you need a super fast meal and one the kids can do without the oven, you can microwave them.
They use 100% whole fish fillets with no fillers, no preservatives, no artificial colors or flavors, no hydrogenated oils, and no antibiotics. It’s simply pure protein-packed, omega-3 filled fish.
That is fish that I can stand behind and feel good about feeding my family!
How do you air fry fish sticks?
We all know that I LOVE using my air fryer. I use it to make Gorton’s Fish Sticks. All you need to do is place the fish sticks in the air fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes at 390 degrees.
That’s it and they will be ready to go.
Now did you know you can use them in a variety of ways? That’s right, lots of them!
