Grilled Sweet Honey Corn
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Sunshine Sweet Corn. I received a gift card to purchase a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Do you love fresh sweet corn? How about Sunshine Sweet Corn? I know my family does!
Last year, we tried to grow it and we really were hopeful seeing how good our corn stalks were growing. Then, we got the great worm and bug attack that pretty much destroyed our corn. This year, we are not growing any corn. I think we may have given up early on it but we just could not salvage it last year.
So, I rely on my local farmer’s markets for our delicious sweet corn. I can boil it and eat it with nothing on it and it taste perfect to me; however, sometimes we like to get a little crafty with our corn!
One of our favorite ways to serve corn is by grilling it! I like that I can foil wrap it with a variety of different herbs and spices and know that our corn will be bursting with flavor.
This past weekend we grilled up some delicious corn and this time I decided to use some local honey to give it an even sweeter taste.
I simply swirled a little honey with sea salt inside of the foil then wrapped the corn in it. We usually grill these about 10 minutes on medium heat or until they are nice and toasty. I like them a little brown but not burnt!
It’s that simple!
Sunshine Sweet Corn is making it even sweeter by hosting the “Livin’ The Sweet Life” contest. All you need to do is pin an image from the Sunshine Sweet Corn homepage to your Pinterest account with the #SweetLife hashtag. Once you do, you could possibly win one of three prize packs that’s worth over $200!
Sounds sweet to me!
