As we head into the holidays make a fun and festive drink with these Chocolate Cherry Floats!
We love to host family and friends, especially during the holidays. We are just about to host my family this weekend for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, but we are also looking ahead to a lot of holiday parties as well. Now, for us, we like to have drinks that the kids can enjoy as well because let’s face it, my kids are always after my drink. These Chocolate Cherry Floats were just the right drink to share, plus we paired them with cherry topped chocolate cupcakes, that is just a match made in heaven.
So, when you come to our home for the holidays, just know that is what you’ll be eating on paper plates and we love it. It allows us more time with our family and friends and less time cleaning.
My kids got in on the fun with these as they waited not-so patiently to try one. They taste like chocolate covered cherries in a liquid form, does it get any better? I sure don’t think so! I decided to make them in mason jars and then add a lime and cherry on the jar too for the perfect combination.
Now, I like presentation when it comes to drinks, so I like to sit ours on the plate with the napkin right underneath it and the cupcake on the side, this way our guests can quickly pick up their drink with the treat and be on their way. That is just holiday perfection!
Now, as you sit down and enjoy your guests, you can also enjoy a sweet treat too.
Happy Holidays!
