Welch’s Banana Peanut Butter & Jelly

Is your family a Peanut Butter & Jelly family?  We are a little more jelly than peanut butter.  We actually waited a while to introduce peanut butter to our son due to family allergies with peanut.  It was just this past year that we finally introduced him to it and he was okay with it, but he really LOVES jelly.

I am pretty particular about the jelly we use because I want to be sure it’s not all sugar and high fructose corn syrup.  I really love the strawberry jelly the best, but my husband loves grape!  This week we were able to try out Welch’s Strawberry spread & Grape jelly on our Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches.

Did you know that the strawberry is made with sweet, vine ripe strawberries?  All of the produce is also grown in the US and Canada, plus the spreads are all natural!

I knew we would love it because we have used Welch’s many times in the past.  My son is a big fan of banana on his sandwiches, so I thought what better way to celebrate the upcoming National PB&J Day on April 2nd with a Strawberry Banana Peanut Butter & Jelly!  Sounds delicious, right?  It is!

We came home from a busy day and these made the perfect lunch.  Also, this is an easy one that the kids can help out with too.  Of course, my son prefers to be the taste tester.  That’s his favorite part…mine too.  If only someone would make my food for me?!  Hmm.

This is a simple peanut butter & jelly sandwich using the Welch’s Strawberry spread topped with some sliced bananas and eat up!
