Make delicious homemade ice cream with this Snickers Homemade Ice Cream!
Now, during the summer months, I dream about homemade ice cream. Lots of homemade ice cream. I recently had a hankering for a good candy-filled ice cream that involved Snickers.
It was a good hankering because this was delicious.
So delicious in fact that my kids nearly ate it before I had even taken the pictures. Of course, it’s a good thing I had a whole gallon of it!
This recipe is so simple, I adapted my Aunt Peggy’s Butterfinger Homemade Ice Cream Recipe to make this version.
I’m making this post short and simple because it’s time for ice cream!

Instructions for our ice cream freezer say cannot add hard ingredients like nuts or chocolate chips until churning process has stopped. I really want to make this but I don’t think it would be as good if I leave the Snickers out until the end. Any thoughts?
I’m honestly not sure, I’ve always added candy chunks/chocolate chips in at the beginning and never had a problem. You may want to try it the way the instructions say just in case b/c it’s likely a different ice cream maker than what I use. I would think it would still be good but not sure how mixed it would be?
