Gather your friends for a game night, then share these Sloppy Joe BBQ Fries. This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of McCain Foods. The opinions and text are all mine.
Does your family have game nights? My husband and I try to have consistent family game nights or movie nights, we usually switch off each week or sometimes just do both with our kids. I have dreams of keeping this going and growing it as my kids get older, inviting over friends and maybe even their kids someday. It’s such a great way to disconnect from social media and connect in real life with family and friends. Of course, any good game night includes something delicious that can easily be shared with guests. I love to make these Sloppy Joe BBQ Fries, and then place the whole platter in the center of the table and dig in!
I do have a weakness when it comes to fries and especially when I know that with McCain Seasoned Fries, we are getting a product made with real flavors and unique seasonings. Our favorite of the seasoned varieties are the curly fries. My kids love these and I’ll admit my husband and I do too. The seasonings pair wonderfully with the meat topping too, it adds a great boost of flavor without having to add any additional spices to the meat. Then, of course, you can get creative and customize your toppings; ours typically include cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
My kids like to get involved too and assist with building our fries with the toppings that we choose. We mix it up occasionally and may use different toppings or add some extra spice with some peppers on top. Spending time with my kids in the kitchen and then heading to play some of their favorite games and enjoy what we made truly brings joy in the kitchen for our family. It also allows my kids to learn a thing or two about cooking and really thinking outside the box by adding their own twist to the meal.
Typically, we spend our Friday nights doing a game night or a movie night. So, as soon as we get home from school and get everything unloaded, I can whip these fries up with the kids in just about 20 minutes or less and it’s time to just kick back, relax, unwind, and dig in. I’ll admit that sometimes we just serve these and skip dinner all together, I mean these are just as good, right? Plus, it’s nice to just do something out of the routine every once in a while. My kids think it’s the best thing ever too, plus it’s easy and a fun way to do a family night without breaking the bank.
Now, are you ready to share a plate of Sloppy Joe BBQ Fries with your family? I suggest you do and do it soon, you’ll quickly learn it’s one of your favorites!
Happy Sharing!
