It’s holiday party time, what does that mean? Delicious foods and refreshing drinks will be gracing the tables across the world! In our household, punch is a big holiday drink and always on our menu; however, we also like something cool and refreshing.
I decided this past week to try this Mixed Berry Mocktail with some delicious fresh berries that we had saved up from the summer. Of course, then I had to decide on the drink to mix it with. I opted for a 2 Liter of 7UP® and the Canada Dry Ginger Ale® in the Cranberry Flavor. My husband is obsessed with the cranberry flavor, so I knew immediately he would be hooked on this drink!
We mixed together equal parts 7UP® and Canada Dry Ginger Ale® Cranberry, then I topped it with blackberries and garnished the drink with fresh mint leaves. Delicious? Yes! It is best served chilled, so if you are making it with warm bottles of pop, simply let the prepared drink chill in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
I love that not only is it tasty, but since the cranberry is red it gives it a festive holiday coloring too.
One of our holiday traditions is spending Christmas Eve together and sharing lots of delicious treats, plus drinks. I’m excited to share this one with my family too this year. This year will be a little different since we are moving our traditional Christmas Eve party to after Christmas but it just extends my favorite holiday a little bit longer. I’m a little bit excited about that!
