Several years ago my friend’s mom made us a Chicken Noodle Bake that was very similar to the PW Sour Cream Noodle Bake. The major difference was that my friend’s mom used chicken; however, I thought for sure this would taste so similar that I would fall in love with it.
I was right.
The PW Sour Cream Noodle Bake is like a down home comfort food for me. Maybe that’s because I’m from Oklahoma too? The heaping pile of noodles covered with beef, sour cream, and cottage cheese then topped with cheese.
Try it, you will fall in love too. Next time, I’m going to try it with chicken.

I would love to make this with chicken… would you use the tomato sauce too or would you use something different, like cream of chicken soup? we made the original recipe last night and absolutely loved it! Thanks!
