My son shares the same love that I do, the love of cookies! I saw this tutorial and knew that I could make this costume in less than an hour and under $10 for my son! Perfect.
The making it part went smoothly. She suggests using a 5 gallon bucket, but that was far too small. I also used the sewing machine for almost all of it except the chips, I hand sewed those. To cut time even more, my mom helped me finish them while I did the chips.
Yes, behind me on the fridge is a sign that says ‘Do Not Overeat’. That’s on my mom’s fridge since I was at her house. Maybe I need a sign like that because she’s skinny!
My mom worked on finishing them after they were stuffed while I sewed on the chips.
The final product, so cute!
I was so excited about the cookie costume. Then, when I put it on my son he freaked out and took it off. Apparently he thinks the cookie ate him. I was faced with the reality that he may not be dressed up as anything this Halloween because he does not want to wear any type of costume. My dad tried to cheer me up by modeling the cookie costume. It did make me laugh seeing as on him it looks like a bib.
