Enjoy some delicious goodness with these Peanut Butter Cup S’mores!
I know some of you may still be in the prime of your summer, but for us, we have 2 weeks left before school starts. That means we are starting to put the breaks a bit on our weekly summer fun-filled days and nights. In just a few weeks, the kids will be in bed early again and we will be back to an early morning schedule.
I’m excited actually to get back to a routine, but I’m also sad too. I really love that the summer helps us slow down a bit and really soak in the memories and fun-filled moments.
How do you make Peanut Butter Cup S’mores?
This past week, we headed outside around the fire even though it was so hot out we probably could have toasted the marshmallows on the ground, but we decided to enjoy these Peanut Butter Cup S’mores.
We decided to mix up our typical s’ mores and this time in place of the plain chocolate, we added peanut butter cups. This is certainly a contender in the race because they were so good!
I actually think I liked them more than the traditional s’ mores. It added another element and it was wonderful.
These Peanut Butter Cup S’mores are perfect in your backyard over a fire or camping out too!
Do you know why a S’more is called a S’more?
It’s actually a shortened way of saying ‘some more’. Apparently, they were so well loved that everyone wanted some more, which ended up being S’mores.
Learn more about it here in this article.
I feel like we really did have a fun-filled summer, we didn’t always do things every single day, but we did do a lot and enjoyed spending time together.
Do you have anything planned for your last hoorah before school starts and summer ends?
I’m sure we will be back on the water again too before summer is officially over, we try to get the most use out of the boat as long as possible.
Now, are you ready to celebrate the end of summer? I want to know what plans you have, plus enjoy these Peanut Butter Cup S’mores!
