This summer has been packed full with many lake trips each weekend, that means with this heat we have to stay hydrated too! One way we have been doing that is with Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water. I drink water constantly, but I do love a little flavor and carbonation from time to time. The sparkling seltzer water did just the trick to quench that craving.
One thing we love around our home especially during the summer time are cream sodas. I decided to use the Mandarin Orange Canada Dry Seltzer Water to make a delicious Orange Cream Soda. It honestly tasted like a liquid creamsicle. My son guzzled his down as did the rest of us!
These cream sodas are a regular drink around here. We recently purchased a new boat and part of that means camping and spending our weekends at the lake. Although we are out on the water, we all enjoy a good drink and thankfully with a refrigerator on board, I can easily take the ingredients and make these for us when we are on the water! We are already planning a camping trip in a couple of weeks and I know these are going to be on the menu.
I have to say that’s a favorite around here when we can sip on Italian Cream Sodas and enjoy the water. We also have the Seltzer Water in our cooler for a refreshing cold drink. I like to drink these since I rarely ever drink regular soda. I love that I can get a little bit of flavor and carbonation instead always having water, plus it’s good for my kids.
So as the summer heats up these are our go-to drinks. I know that as we go into the fall, we will still be serving these up at our fall cookouts. I have so many ideas of different flavors that we can make even possibly create a ‘flavor bar’ so that guests can pick and choose their mix!
I was also able to find a raspberry flavor too, that one happens to be my favorite. I’m addicted to Raspberry Italian Cream Sodas!
To make the Orange Cream Sodas, I simply added vanilla flavoring syrup along with cream then I topped it with the sparkling water. Once it’s mixed together, add a little whipped cream to the top and you have the perfect drink for any occasion. These can get creative too by mixing up different flavors. Another thing to do is add a little bit of lemon lime Canada Dry to give it a bit of tang too.
Right now, you can pick up your Canada Dry at Walmart plus use this coupon and SAVE!
I have a feeling, I’ll be making these next time we take the boat out! I love that these are perfect for both adults and kids, making everyone happy!
