Do you ever just CRAVE a delicious sandwich? I do! I have these random cravings for just a super tasty, delicious spread, meat filled, pickle and veggie filled sandwich. It happens. It just does. That’s why I decided to make this Meaty Sub Sandwich with Hormel Pepperoni.
Most of you though can make a sub sandwich at home about 10x better than you could pick up at restaurant, plus it’s cheaper!
My husband is always running into issues with what to take for his lunch each day. He’s a truck driver and on the road a lot, which means he needs something easy and that can be stored in his lunchbox. It really annoys me when he goes to a fast food place and picks up something that could have been made at home for a fraction of the cost. That’s got to be one of my biggest pet peeves.
I know there are always times that sometimes you just want some fast food, but that money adds up if you are going there every day! So, I decided to make him some sub sandwiches to take for work. Of course if I wanted him to eat the sandwich it had to be full of meaty deliciousness.
One item we always have on hand is Pepperoni. My son is a pepperoni addict and it’s one of the few things he will actually eat. He usually goes to school with pepperoni in his lunch likely three times a week! The great thing is too, that you can use this coupon and save $1.00 on TWO Hormel Pepperoni Packages! I’m all about savings!
One of the best parts along with that pepperoni is the dill dip spread I used on the sub. I use this sandwich spread a lot as it is a great way to make an easy spread at home without all the added ingredients.
This sub is simple to build, I started with the spread, then added tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles, turkey breast slices, and topped it with Pepperoni!
Are you ready for a bite? Time for lunch!

Yes, sometimes I crave a good sandwich as well. Having a signature spread, and a bunch of delicious toppings really makes it. Can’t wait to try this one for our next game night or picnic at the park. #client
