Do you have a furry friend in your life? We do! I’ve mentioned our dog, May, before on my blog but I wanted to share something new we are doing and that is taking the Iams® Visible Differences Challenge.
As our dog May is more in her senior years now, pushing 9 years old, I hate admitting that she’s nearing her final years or at least in the dog expectancy for her breed. I sure hope she exceeds that though, we’ve noticed that her coat is much more dull than it has been in the past and although she still has loads of energy, she sleeps more than usual.
We decided to take the challenge and begin the switch over to Iams quality dog food. She’s been on a few different types in the past and it seems one will do fine for a while, but then we need to change something about her diet.
May is a lab mix and we got her when she was just about 9 weeks old as a puppy. I still cannot believe we have had her nearly 9 years. It just does not seem possible! When she first came to us, she then developed a skin and coat disorder that ended up taking many visits to the vet to correct. Since then, we have really had to stay on top of being sure she’s eating a good quality dog food that’s healthy for her and her coat.
By making this switch, we will soon see benefits such as a shiner coat, more energy, and a healthier digestive system. I know that our dog will greatly benefit from each of these. Although when she does get energetic she thinks she’s a puppy and likes to sit in your lap, oblivious to the fact she’s as big as me.
I’ll be sharing with you some of our upcoming adventures as well as our honest opinion about how the switch is going along with the benefits we are seeing directly with her. I am looking forward to seeing the Iams Visible Differences. Click that link and get a $5 coupon too! Have you tried Iams yet? Did you see a visible difference? Share your experience with us!
