Grilled Salmon with Garlic Lemon Butter
It’s time to enjoy this Grilled Salmon with Garlic Lemon Butter paired with Sweet Tea. Last summer, our family loaded up the car and headed north, very far north. We actually drove from Oklahoma all the way to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We stayed in a beautiful home that overlooked the lake. The first stop when we got settled was to the local grocery store.
My dad and I headed to the local store in town to pick up all the groceries we would need for the week. While we were there, my dad went straight to the tea aisle because our family LOVES tea. He noticed that this particular store carried a brand that we had not tried before it was Gold Peak® Tea. He picked up a case of it, plus a half-gallon container and we head on back to the house.
As soon as we got back, my dad poured a glass and that was the last time he ever drank any other brand. He did not stop talking about Gold Peak® Tea the entire time we were on this trip. I’m not even kidding. The next day, when we opened the fridge it was like the tea multiplied overnight. He literally went back to the store and bought even more.
It was in every cooler we brought with us, plus the fridge too. He must have gone to the store at least 10 times while we were on the trip buying more Gold Peak® Tea.
That trip was nearly a year ago, and since then we always have Gold Peak® Tea in stock at all times. Not only that, but we spend most of our summer on the lake and we buy it at Sam’s Club regularly to keep in the cooler at the lake. It’s definitely a love affair with tea. It has the best taste though.
I love using the Sam’s Club app on my phone to order for pickup at the store. The pickup service saves my sanity and makes it so easy to load up on essentials for the summer months.
It reminds me of the sweet tea that I grew up on. That’s likely why my dad loves it so much, because we always had tea growing up that my mom made us and now we can easily buy it already made and ready to go, plus get that same great taste.
As the summer draws near, we end up using our grill to cookout and host friends and family all season long. We go to the lake so much over the summer that we almost always have burgers and hot dogs, so when we have family and friends over I liked to make grilled steaks and grilled salmon. It mixes it up a bit since now we have started to associate burgers and hot dogs with the lake.
I decided to glaze the salmon with butter, lemon, and garlic. I also added in just a hint of rosemary. Once it’s nicely glazed, let the glaze soak in for about an hour before placing on the grill.
It takes about 20 minutes to grill on medium-high heat. While the salmon is grilling, I will get asparagus, potatoes, and a few lemons ready to grill using the same glaze.

Once both are done, I add the vegetables to a serving dish and place the salmon right on top. Not only is it beautiful for serving, it’s so delicious. It’s a wonderful savory meal that pairs perfect with a cold, sweet tea.
We love to sit on our patio and enjoy conversations with friends and family while the kids run and play.
This is my favorite part of the upcoming summer season, simply being able to slow down a bit and enjoy time with the ones we love.

This looks and sounds like a great meal. I don’t have access to an outdoor grill, can this be adopted to a Ninja Foodi Grill?
Yes, you can do this on high in the Ninja Grill.
