As the school year begins and all families are getting back into a routine that many times includes busy days and late nights, having something healthy on hand to eat during the day can be vital.
Thankfully, Lean Cuisine offers a great product just for that! What I love about Lean Cuisines is that they have no preservatives on top of being relatively low in fat and calories.
This past weekend while at Sam’s, I found these 6 Packs of Lean Cuisines for only $11.25! That comes to roughly $1.88 a meal! If you were to run through a fast food location to grab a quick lunch you would easily spend $8 for 1 meal!
My husband is actually the one in our family that eats these, he usually eats them as soon as he gets home from work because he normally gets home in the early afternoon. He likes to eat them to keep his energy back up and to give him something quick before we get on with our day.
Along with having a Lean Cuisine, I like to pair it with a homemade item too. I guess that gives you the best of both worlds. If you are enjoying the Sesame Chicken, Homemade Lettuce Wraps make the perfect combination!
So, although we eat mostly homemade, I wanted to share with you an easy way for mom or really any busy parent or grandparent during this school season to take a frozen meal and add a little homemade with it!
Along with our shopping trip at Sam’s where we found the Lean Cuisines, we also found a great deal on DiGiorno pizza! Although, now that I’m gluten free I am no longer able to eat these, my husband and son love them. Before going gluten free if we were buying a frozen pizza this was our go to brand of choice!
I was most excited when I found this Pizza Party Pack for $10.98! Honestly, I could not believe it because these typically cost around $6 or more for 1 pizza at the local grocery store! Although, we do a lot of homemade pizza in our family even those who love to cook need a break every now and then. I could easily run up to Sam’s grab this and a movie from Redbox and have a pizza and move night for less than $12! That’s a great way to have a family night without breaking the bank!
In conclusion, I was beyond impressed with my trip to Sam’s and all the savings I found there. I do not buy in bulk very often, but I may have to start! If you want to see what else we shopped for head over to my Google + Story.
Also be sure and find out more about these products over at Sam’s Website, Lean Cuisine, Facebook, and Twitter at #FrozenFavorites.

Adding the lettuce wraps is a great idea to make the meal bigger. My husband would love this too. I want to try the Asian flavor ones myself. The party pack my son would devour lol
