It’s essential to the well being of your dog to enjoy playtime each day, plus feed them a good dog food. Today, I’m sharing #Luvsome in my life as part of a Luvsome sponsored series for Socialstars™, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
We’ve recently started a chore chart for our son, now this isn’t a new thing but we have slacked off on it big time in the past. We originally started it when he was 4 and it worked really well, of course the chores then were very simple things that a 4 year old could do, but he enjoyed looking at the list and getting them done each day. Then, the years passed on and we got busy and really slacked on staying on top of the chore list. We recently realized that unless we have a list and really tell him what we expect him to do every day, he isn’t going to know. Somehow, we just expected that he would know exactly what we wanted him to do? Well, as much as I should know he can’t read my mind…I didn’t put much thought into that. Now, we have set things he needs to do each day before playtime. One of those responsibilities is to feed our animals including our big teddy bear, May.
We actually got our dog when she was just a puppy and several years before we had our son, but he’s always been very fond of her. He feeds her each day and is always sure to go out and play with her. Of course, her favorite thing to do is just to lay down and have a good back rub or rub behind her ears, she’s become a little bit lazy in her older age, but she does still enjoy running around and going for walks. Our son though enjoys playing with her, I honestly think it’s therapeutic for her too.
Now, along with play a good dog food is also a must. We’ve recently been trying Luvsome, which is a delicious, balanced nutritional food that can help your dogs stay happy & healthy. It’s a high quality brand for a value price that you can pick up at your local Kroger stores. That means you can get their food while you get your own making it easier on you. We actually just took our dog for a cleaning this past weekend and bath. The groomers were impressed with how well her coat looks and I’m sure it has a lot to do with the dog food too.
As we are now in the midst of winter, it’s our job as pet owners to keep her active and in her best health, luckily with Luvsome we can do just that! We’ve also had quite a snap of warm weather, it was basically spring all week, so that means lots of family walks can be had too. Our dog was our first baby and she needs lots of love too, so as we finish out the month of Valentine’s Day and love, remember to shower your dogs with lots of love and tasty food too!
Happy Friday!

Aww, that is cute that you have feeding the dog as a chore for your child. I bet that gets him in the right frame of mind when starting out teaching him responsibilities so young. I never grew up with any chores that my parents kept track of on a daily basis – or none that I can remember at least.
Weird! I just literally gave me pup a Luvsome treat before sitting down to get on the computer!
My dog loves Luvsome and I love the wholesome way it is made.
We work hard to only feed our older basset hound only natural foods. Sometimes we have to shop around, and it definitely means going out of our way because our local stores don’t sell good options. I have never seen this brand. I’ll have to check it out.
I haven’t had a dog for years! But I’ve been meaning to get one. Thanks for sharing this — I’ll surely keep it in mind once I get my own adorable dog.
There is not a lazy bone in my dog. He is very active. We have to make sure we are feeding him a quality dog food.
Oh that is thoughtful to give your dog a proper diet. I did not realize that they would want as much time as a child or family member; but I have never owned a pet anything. That is so interesting.
