Enjoy this Sweet Potato Hummus that is perfect for dipping!
Are you a hummus fan? How about Sweet Potato Hummus? It’s time to enjoy some Sweet Potato Hummus!
Hummus may be my favorite dip…ever, it’s a hefty competitor with my Dill Dip. My daughter and I could lick the bowl clean of Hummus. Recently though, I decided to try out Sweet Potato Hummus. It’s a nice sweet twist on a delicious classic hummus.
Basically this is a mix of regular hummus with sweet potato to give it another level of flavor. I find it’s a great twist on the traditional. I almost always choose the classic hummus, but sometimes I could use a little different flavor to it. It’s even nice with a dash of cinnamon on top.
This Sweet Potato Hummus is perfect for a party possibly even served alongside a cheese board too. It would fit well with crackers and cheeses, don’t you think?
My family is absolutely hooked on this hummus. Since they loved the classic so much, I decided to add a little bit of maple syrup and sweet potatoes to it and make a Sweet Potato Hummus. This hummus would pair wonderfully with bagel chips, pretzels, veggies, or even a cinnamon topped sweet bread. I preferred it with pretzels for a nice sweet and salty taste.
I also like to dip carrots and other veggies in it too. I find it’s a good alternative for me to chips and dip. That tends to be my weakness, so replacing it with hummus and veggies saves me lots of calories and doesn’t completely kill my workout. Are you ready to try it?
Now it’s time for that lighter snack that you know you will just love.
I know for us it’s a regular dip in our fridge, make it one in yours too!
Enjoy this Sweet Potato Hummus!
