Before you host the perfect tea party, be sure to check out these 5 tips and ideas for hosting a tea party!
Growing up, I lived on tea, sweet tea. I’m from the part of the country that lives on sweet tea. Although, they say Oklahoma isn’t part of the south where it’s known that sweet tea is a must…I think it’s close enough. In the meantime be sure to learn these 5 Tips for Tea Time.
I acquired a taste for sweet tea as a kid, and it has since grown into a love of a variety of teas. This past week, I was able to host a little tea party with my friends and family. We served up several of the latest teas from Lipton Tea. I featured the new black and herbal varieties. They are new and improved with bold stimulating flavors.
I absolutely LOVE the herbal teas because these are so simple to serve hot or cold and they are naturally caffeine free. That means even the youngest family members can enjoy a glass and this little girl sure loves her herbal tea. My favorite flavor right now is the Berry Hibiscus. It just reminds me of spring, and this is the time of year when I am SO ready for spring!
Our party featured both and hot and cold teas along with all sorts of food. Today, I thought I’d share a little more about our party and a few tips for hosting the perfect tea party.
5 Tips for Tea Time
1. Offer both hot and cold teas so that your guests can choose, plus be sure to offer a variety.
2. Add a tiered serving tray to your party for a variety of pastries, muffins, breads, and even sandwiches. This can also hold fruits as well.
3. A beautiful cake stand can really set the tone of the table along with a scrumptious cake. It pairs nicely with the tea too.
4. Floral arrangements give a natural cheery element to the table. I always add some sort of flowers to our table for a tea party.
5. Add a little tray of sugar cubes and a kettle of hot water, these are must haves for any tea party.
Each of these tips I stick to when hosting a tea party. Of course, you want a variety of teas including herbal so that if you do have guests who do not want caffeine they have that option too.
My favorite tea is a good green tea, the new variety from Lipton Tea offers a light, fresh taste. It also has a delightful aroma too.
Be sure to check out all of their improved black and herbal varieties in stores now.
I think a tea party is just the thing to get you through the rest of winter.
