Make your favorite 10 Minute Restaurant Style Salsa for a snack tonight!
Do you have a favorite go-to salsa recipe at your house? Our favorite is this 10 Minute Restaurant Style Salsa. I’ve been enjoying this since I was a kid; however, I wasn’t exactly sure how to make it until I moved out and got married.
Then, my husband and I whipped it up and have been eating it ever since.
Growing up, our neighbors used to bring over this salsa every summer during gardening season. It was SO good but they would never give up the recipe, it was a secret.
As I got older I finally realized how easy it is to recreate. I’m sure theirs has some sort of secret ingredient in it but for the most part, this one comes in very close!
How do you make 10 Minute Restaurant Style Salsa?
We typically ALWAYS have this salsa on hand in our fridge. My husband loves it after work with some warm flour tortillas, it’s his go-to snack. I like to use it for nacho or taco nights or even a movie snack.
I picked up all the ingredients to make a batch at Walmart this week and decided to pick up Hunt’s No Salt Added Diced Tomatoes. Typically, I use whole peeled tomatoes, but I thought I’d mix it up this time and try these. It was perfect!
Of course, you can pick up any variety really, they even have a spicy pepper variety for those that like hot salsa.
I like the no salt added so that I can control the amount of salt going into this dish; however, it is also just as good using the regular Hunt’s Diced Tomatoes.
Once I had all my ingredients ready to go, all you do is throw them in the food processor and chop it all up until it’s a smooth consistency.
I pour ours into glass mason jars and keep it in the fridge for up to a month. It can be served as is right after being combined in the food processor or you can store it in the fridge to get it nice and cold.
Are you ready for a super tasty treat? Be sure to use THIS COUPON and pick up plenty of Hunt’s Diced Tomatoes at your local Walmart!
